There is no hope left The last light will die out The last fire will be extinguished The trees will wither … And the ocean will swallow us all Our history will be washed away All the monuments will come crushing down There will be no one to remember your name This path of destruction was chosen long ago By those with no love for the Earth The greed will mark their watery grave And now the Ocean takes away all their efforts Father Sea Mother Nature erase our legacy The virus that must be wiped out The light has flickered out and Only the ashes remain of all the trees that we burned the water will take that away and us with her in the everflowing stream of nothing There’s no time to make amends Your name has already been forgotten Forgotten by all those that you thought eternal Don’t save your breath it’s all finished now There’s no purpose in saying prayers Your God has already been forsaken As if there was ever a chance for salvation Everything is ending Everything has ended All our belonging and loving ones Have disappeared below the waves All fell silent and quiet The sun shines again...what is left? You would have loved this Nature heals and reclaims the Earth I want to drown Make me drift away And disappear between the Waves I remember the sun rising on The town that I have always despised Golden ambers shining on the sand and through your hair The fire already died while ashes were still floating in the air I went into the water I went into the water I turned back and you disappeared Where have you gone Don’t I deserve a proper ending? We deserve a proper ending I close my eyes one last time As the ocean swallows us all In the water I saw you drown My last wish is to drown I want to drown I want to drift away I want to disappear
